"Theoretical and experimental studies on Francis turbine models in the field of specific speeds ns= 300 - 350, in order to increase the energetic-cavitation performances, with application to fit the power plants on Valea Jiului and for export".
General objective: Research works to perform new products in the field of low head Francis turbines. The results obtained are used to produce turbines and micro turbines able to operate under high flows and low heads.

"INTEGRATED SOLUTIONS OF MICRO HYDRO UNITS INTENDED TO OPERATE EFFICIENTLY AND ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY THE SECONDARY HYDRO ENERGETIC POTENTIAL IN ISOLATED AREAS"
General objective: Assimilation of environmental friendly micro turbines of Pelton, MAGI, Banki type, able to operate at low flows and average heads, performing an automation prototype able to exploit the hydraulic energy, existent in the water supply of the treatment and purifying stations at the drinking water supply pipe to the cities located on hilly or mountain areas also using certain constructive solutions according to the environmental requirements.
