The micro hydro units with installed capacity per unit of 10 - 100 kW designed and manufactured by Hydro Engineering S.A. provide a wide range of use:

• Generation of electricity for private users;
• Generation of electricity to be supplied in the power mains;
• Generation of electricity for isolated power mains;
• Driving other equipments by direct transmission of moment;
• The micro hydro units of wide use represent an environmental friendly solution;

They consist mainly of: hydraulic micro turbine, driving gear, inlet valve, induction generator, automation-control electric cabinet. The machines are performed in solid design, with the turbine shaft arranged horizontally, tilted or vertically. The driving systems of the valve and turbine are manually or electromechanically operated, depending on the requirements of the customer. The operation of the group is checked automatically, the controls being able to be performed also manually.
