The policy of HYDRO-ENGINEERING provides the optimization of the economic results in respect of those in the field of environment protection, health and occupational security. It is based on the model of "long lasting development" as well as on the alignment to the European Union Directives "New Generation" being according to the character, dimensions, and impact on the environment and the security risks of the activities performed within the company. HYDRO-ENGINEERING undertakes firm commitment to:

• comply with the Romanian Law requirements regarding the environment protection and security, alignment to European and International legislation where Romania is signatory part to regulations and other applicable requirements;
• continuously asses and keep under control the environmental issues and the risks of security identified at the company level;
• communicate the policy and performances of environment and security to all interested parties (www.hydrorom.com);
• involve all employees in performing the measures comprised in the Programs for Environment Management and Security, as well as to continuously improve the performance indicators;
• prevent pollution, incidents and accidents;
• supply products and services that provide high degree of environment security and preservation, also that include own research results seen in new technical solutions, highly performing products and the best technologies (BAT);
• establish and analyze the environment and security objectives and targets according to the procedures.

The top management in HYDRO-ENGINEERING appointed the Head of the Integrated Management Department to act as representative on behalf of the management for Integrated Management Systems of Quality, Environment, Health and Occupational Security, giving him freedom to act, responsibility and authority for their design, implementing, certification, maintaining and continuous improvement.
