- Energetic-cavitation guarantee measurements on hydraulic turbine models and turbine pump;
- Energetic measurements on micro hydro unit prototypes;
- Energetic measurements on Pelton turbine models;
- Calibration measurements and changing the range of transducers;
- Measurements regarding the mechanical stresses of hydro units' subassemblies.
Tests in hydro electric power plants:
- Measurements to assess the life time reserve of the hydro units in operation;
- Performance measurements at putting into operation of the hydro units;
- Performance measurements of micro hydro units in the plant;
- Measurements to assess the hydro energetic potential in the arrangements for micro hydro units;
- Measurements regarding the mechanical stresses of the hydro units' subassemblies.
Equipments intended for measurements:
Modern equipment for measuring and testing (transducers, oscillographs, pressure gauges of different types, vibration meter, strain gauge bridges, flowmeter, etc.) data acquisition systems (LabVIEW, ESAM)
Achievements:
Over 50 patrimony models forming the base of all industrial turbines in Romania (>6000 MW);
Guarantee tests in the testing stand for Iron Gates I, II HEPP, Râul Mare, Kapulukaya, Gezende, Kilickaya, Kilavuzlu, etc.
Material base:
Highly performing computer network, package programs for general use and specialized (geometrical modeling, hydrodynamic simulation, structural calculation), test stands provided with performing measuring devices and modern systems for data acquisition; Test stand in closed circuit for guarantee tests. |
